One of the core principles of Agile is “inspect and adapt.” It’s about regularly checking how things are going and making changes based on what you learn. In sprint coaching, feedback loops are our secret weapon to unlock potential.
Data-driven training adjustments
Every athlete is unique, and progress isn’t always linear. By collecting ongoing data — from sprint times and biomechanical assessments to recovery quality and mental readiness — we get a full picture of how the athlete is doing.
For example, if an athlete hits a plateau in their acceleration, instead of blindly ramping up volume, we dig deeper. Video analysis might reveal tight hips or a technical flaw in their start. Collaborating with physiotherapists and strength coaches, we adjust drills to target these weaknesses.
Empowering the athlete
This constant feedback empowers athletes to take ownership of their development. It turns training into a partnership where adjustments aren’t guesswork but smart decisions based on evidence — the essence of Agile’s inspect and adapt.
