Steve Dodt is a Level 4 World Athletics-accredited High Performance Coach, specialising in sprints, hurdles, jumps, and speed development. Based in Canberra, Steve leads FAST Running, the capital’s longest-standing sprint and hurdles squad, established in 1995.
With over 30 years of coaching experience, Steve has helped athletes of all ages reach their potential — from school-level competitors to national medalists and international representatives. His coaching style combines elite-level precision with personal care and deep understanding of athletic development.

As Head Performance Coach of FAST Running, Steve has led the squad to become the most decorated in Canberra in terms of national finalists, medalists, and team consistency. FAST athletes regularly feature at:

- International Bronze Medals – 400m Hurdles and Long Jump, Arafura Games (1993 & 1995)
- Multiple Golds – ACT, Northern Territory, and NSW Masters Championships
- Australian Champion – 80m Hurdles, Little Athletics Nationals
- 4x100m National Bronze Medalist
- Finalist – 400m at National Championships
- 4th Place – ALAC National Multi-Event
