Story time at SDN Bluebell

Recently the children at SDN Bluebell in Belconnen have been learning about “I am Australian too.” They have learned that we are all different but we are all living in Australia, and we did decorate our handprints as we like.

As Australia Day was approaching the children have been engaging in new experiences.

Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, visited Bluebell and read a German story book in German to the children (The title is Bobo riding a bike in English). It was great opportunity for the children to explore a different culture and aware of similarities and differences around the world.

It was a wonderful experience to help spread diversity and engage with the local community.
