The 1998-99 Athletics ACT Board included Steve Dodt as the Athletes’ voice. Steve also volunteered on the Track & Field Selection Committee.
Scott Steele (AACT Office Manager) made it a priority to get the ACT Athletics website fully functional early in the 1999-2000 season. Steve Dodt and Linda Butler ensured that the ACT Athletics website went live on 27 October, 1999.
Steve who welcomed the birth of his daughter Karla in June 1999, took a step back from competing in 1999 as a result, but continued to volunteer and assist the sport in his capacity as a Director, Committee Member, Webmaster and Sprint Coach.
