She trained with FAST until the end of the 1996-97 season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the Australian Junior Track &amp; Field Championships inn 1997, Natasha became FAST\u2019s first Australian Medalist, finishing in third (bronze) behind Rebecca Murphy and Sonia Britto. Natasha\u2019s personal best of 11.9s for the 100m remains the squad\u2019s fastest time by a Woman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Natasha ran 12.06s in the Open 100m at the 1997 Arafura Games, winning her first international bronze medal behind Nova Peris (Australia) and Hoang Thi Lan Anh (Vietnam).
